We are going to the Fili Apartments on 15 July unfortunately our return flight does not leave till the early hours and was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to retain the room or have a later checkout.

YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!!!! WERE YOU THERE WHEN THEY WERE THERE?????????? I WAS ALONG WITH MY HUSBAND AND 2 CHILDREN. THE NEWCASTLE, GEORDIE CREW WERE AN EMBARASSMENT TO BRITISH HOLIDAYMAKERS. UNLESS YOU WERE THERE I SUGGEST YOU KEEP YOU'RE OPINIONS TO YOUR SELF. BUT THEN MAYBE THAT'SYOUR IDEA OF A GOOD HOLIDAY.WHO KNOWS?THIS SITE IS TO LET FUTURE TRAVELLER KNOW ABOUT THE ACCOMODATION WHICH I DON'T THINK ANYONE HAD A PROBLEM WITH IT WAS JUST THE CLIENTELE THAT WERE PRESENT DURING OUR VISIT. PAUL AND ELENI WERE FIRST CLASS. NO-ONE IS DOUBTING THAT |

I have been to the Fili twice before but always with my husband. This summer (June) I went alone following my husband's death and I can honestly say it was a wonderful holiday. Paul and his family made me so welcome and the other guests were wonderful - especially the Scottish and Norfolk parties!!
I shall go again next summer as I did not find it daunting to be alone at all. I would recommend the Fili to anyone who likes to be away from the hustle and bustle but not too far that you cannot get to the music bars easily! The bus service into the village of Tingaki and the Capital, Kos, is a good, reliable service! I would recommend Theokritsas (sp?) for booking trips - Louise is English but married to a Greek and both are very friendly and helpful. They are based in the main street in Tingaki. Have a good holiday - Yammas!!! |

Just returned from the Fili 30th May. My hubbie and myself were alllocated a room at the back of beyond. I had to use my mobile phone to light up the stairwell and the keyhole. The apartment was wellll!!lets say it left alot to be desired 2 rubber tubes sticking out of the floor in the toilet.Don't know if this is the Greek answer to the bidet. After complaining we were given a very nice apartment overlooking the pool. Basic but spotless. Paul and Helena are fabulous hosts but we weren't impressed with the BBQ evening. A rowdy group of women were there and after the BBQ party games began. My husband and retired at 10.30pm as we really didn't want to mix with the company left at the tables. Wouldn't say these apartments are geared for kids. It is very peaceful location and ideal for a chill out holiday. . Would we go again ........maybe depending if we were able to know in advance the element that were holidaying with us. The apartments are a bit too far from the centre of Tingaki, and unfortunately not our kind of people holidaying there and the party games. The 8/10 is for the hospitality that Paul and Helena showed us. |

| I stayed at the fili a few years ago and we had a great holiday, it was a bit noisy in the evening because Paul kept the pool open and we were all swimming in the early hours, i did'nt mind the noise because i was part of it.
Fantastic time i had, as someone has already said Paul is a fantastic host and the food is really good and cheap.

| I am thinking of booking the Fili apartments as they seem to have good reviews but I have noticed a couple of comments about noisy music, does anyone know if they play loud music late in the evening? I am hoping to stay somewhere really peaceful. Any tips would be appreciated!

Spent 2 wks here end of Sept. Gr8 place. Paul (Apostilis) is a fabulous host. Very funny and entertaining. You could go here alone but not feel out of place. Just sit at the bar and chat to who ever is about. Very friendly place. If no one else wanted to go on holiday and I did, I wouldn't hesitate in going here. A little bit out of the centre of Tingaki but the bus stop is just out side of apartments. Only a few euros and going into Kos town also. Would reccommend this place to anyone. YAMAS |

I have just returned from my stay at the fili with my wife and daughters, although the accomadation was a bit basic it was clean with a good sea view, we found the host [paul] to be a really great guy who made us feel welcome and he is a very entertaining and funny. unfortunately we didnt have great weather with a big thunder storm one evening & heavy winds. However when the sun is out there are 2 main pools & a kiddies pool all of which are imaculately kept. The service at the bar and resturant are exellent, the food was well presented and not expensive with the hardest working waitress i have ever seen. i would recomend a stay at the fili |

Just returned from Fili Apartments and had a great time. Very relaxed and peaceful (kids still at school in England I guess). Paul & wife Elena are really excellent hosts. Everything is very clean but basic. Distance from Fili Apartments to town takes about 20 to 25 minutes to walk. There is a regular bus you can get from end of road outside apartments that costs Euro1.20 or a taxi will cost you Eur6.50. Taxi into Kos Town is about Eur12.00 or again you can get the bus for Eur 1.60. We spent nearly all of our time at the Fili though as the hosts, food, drinks and service (Bobbi is great) are all excellent. |

We have just arrived back from the Fili Apartments in Tingaki and we had a great time. The owners, Paul and Helena are brilliant and so friendly, they made us feel so welcome. The apartments were very basic but was really clean. The food was great and the drinks were reasonably priced.
We had a fantastic time and cant wait to go back again next year.
Cheers Paul and Helena |

| Arrived at Fili apartments on21st Sept. (late). Opinion of apartment grew more favourable as the weather improved, although disappointed with 'bathroom' which was very poorly lit, and ours in partcicular did not have a window to the fresh air consequently after use of toilet main door and windows had to provide a fresh=air gale to sweeten the room! Cleanliness very good, and pool facilities excellent. As slightly disabled.I found the sloping paths up and down on way to apartment were tiring, but seemed less of a problem the more they were used. Bicycles were extensively used by a lot of the guests here, and not having cycled since the late '50s, I decided a car more appropriate. A very obliging Sandy at Sevi car hire, the first along the sea front from Fili, provided us with same. My first visit, and I would willingly return. The first week was spoilt by cloud cool breeze and a terrific thunder storm, which lasted for hours. Second week the weather was perfect, hardly a cloud and warm. Skiathos is still my favourite island but Kos runs it to a close second. |

Me and my boyfriend have just came back from the fili apartments and loved every minuite of it! Its a walk away from the town but there is a good bus service running frequently and also the walk is really nice! Paul and his family who own the apartments are absoloutly lovely and you cudnt wish for a nicer owner! Its a really really great place to visit you can get around the whole island by bus or hire a car for approx 27 euros a day! Perfect for people of any age and we will definatly return next year! |

| Went to Fili in May for 2 weeks. Very clean and very friendly, also very far away from anything. The apartments were at the end of everything the last bus stop, although the buses are very regular and taxis are cheap it was just to far away from the centre. My children who are 18,15 and 6 enjoyed them selves not a lot ot do in the evening but it was relaxing. My 6 yr old got a bit bored and didnt always want to walk into tingaki at night, we went a few times. The main supermarket is far away and not as cheap as you think the local one is just as cheap by local I mean a good 15 min walk. We were glad we went but we wouldnt go back to Kos in general if the Fili was a bit closer to town in would of been ideal. Paul is very helpful and so is Barbie, Pauls wife isnt fond of small kids we fond of small kids especially boistrous ones like mine ha!! |
