We have just returned today from our 4th visit to these apartments and as always Maria and Nicos were excellent hosts.  The apartments are the cleanest apartments we have ever stayed in.  If its peace and relaxation you are after with wonderful views then this is the place for you.  Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and staff.  We were made to feel very welcome as always, from our date of arrival until we left.  We will certainly be going again.  In fact, we wouldnt stay anywhere else in Tingaki.

Hi Jacqui,

This year will be our 4th year at Irina and in answer to your  question yes there is air con., at the apartments.  You pay a deposit and then so much a night (I cant remember how much off hand).  The apartments have two single beds in the main part of the apartment, the other two beds double as the seating area in the kitchen part of the apartment.  They dont pull out though.  If you look on the Irina Beach website there are photos on there of inside the accommodation, so you would be able to get a better idea of what I mean from there.

If there is anything else you want to know drop me a line at lynne6589@aol.com and I'll do my best to help.

We go back in 8 weeks and are really looking forward to it.

We have stayed at the Irena Bech for the last 2 years and have booked to go back again next year  -great place for families and the staff are all great (esp Chrissy) - great location as it is right on the beach and a nice walk into Tingaki centre.

Quiet pace of life and totally relaxing.

There is a cashpojnt in Tingaki - right next to the roundabout (square) at the bottom of the main drag.

Anyone want any info on Irena Beach or Tingaki, just let me know and i'll try and oblige.

In response to a question, no cashpoints in Tingaki, plenty of places to exchange currency or tvls cheques

We stayed at Irina Beach at the end of June/beg July.  Apartments clean and spacious and staff very friendly.  Only complaint was our room was right next to the bar area (Room 32).  It can get quite noisy in the early hours of the morning.
In answer to Kirsty............Marianna studios are quite a distance away from Irina Beach.  Marianna studios are situated near to Konstantinos supermarket in Tingaki village.  There is a local bus that picks up almost outside Irina Beach and will take you right to supermarket door.  Only costs 1 Euro each.
Would certainly go back to Tingaki...............lovely beach and quiet area.

Please please please can anyone help, I have read all the other messages about the Irini II Beach apts, but some it's not a long walk to the centre, some say it is, and some there are autobanks there. Can anyone tell me whether there are any autobanks in Tingaki and how far it is to work for an able bodied person (but doesn't do alot of walking) P.S. I go on the 4/9/04 so need to know urgently.

Much appreciated and I look forward to all your replies.

URGENT
Can anyone help, we are off to Kos on the 4th Sepetember and staying in the Irini II and wondered if anyone else had stayed and they could tell us what it was like. Also are there any autobanks in Tingaki or do you have to go to Kos town?

Just come back, lovely holiday. Really peaceful and enjoyable. The pool is good for kids with lots of sun beds however the cushions cost 2 euros a day so we brought linos from the shop for 2.80 euros! It's about 2km from the centre of Tigaki however it's a nice walk or you can catch the hourly bus from just outside the apartments for 90cents. We paid for a late check-out room and it cost 30 euros. There's a little supermarket at the hotel and the price were really good (about the same as in the village). The rooms were nice and clean, the food at the hotel was very good (if you can't be bothered to go into Tigaki). Lovely weather, didn't see a cloud for 2 weeks!
