Manos - (Restaurants in Kefalos)

Phil B

We went to this resturant around 4 times in a week at various times day and night and found it excerlent value. Were else can you get a good chicken kebab (Gyro) for 1. The other meals on the menu were huge and equally cheap. Its worth going back to Kos just for the value.

Kalonisa Studios - (Accommodation in Kefalos)

Phil B

The apartments were clean and basic. Don't expect to cook more then an egg on the little 2 ring cooker though. (Saying that it's so cheap to eat out why bother cooking?). The owner / maids were a bit on the rude side, and we still haven't found the sharks jaw that my son brought and then "went missing" after the cleaner "lost it in the rubbish". My advice is use the apartmnets for sleeping in and enjoy the excerllent resort for the rest of the day.

Sydneys Bar - (Bars in Kefalos)

Phil B

The girls and lad behind the bar were fun, Michele could give more of her Scottish smiles more often though, the music was ok, but a bit more thought to the mixing would be a good idea. And who were those english people who kept helping themselves all week. All friends of the owner I think not!
Girls watch out for dodgy "doorman" who tries his chat up lines every night when he spends his hour on the door from 12.00- 1.00AM. He's the won with the peddle pusher trousers, Nice!

Manolis - (Car Rental on Kos)

Phil B

The price for Jeeps and Mopeds were very reasonable, 35 Euros and 8 Euros a day. We had very good service from them and they helped a lot in getting our driving licence details faxed to them from the DVLA.Well worth a try.
