Miros is ok but I went there in October, yet it was still hot. I found the rooms cool enough. Take plenty of mosquito stuff including the plug in repellents for the night time. I didn't suffer but a lot of people do, but if you get some mosquito milk and roll it on yourself at night it will do the job.
I loved the place that much that I was almost going to go back and work there. The best bar for me was the Mascot. Plenty of nice places to eat, however the people at the Miros try and get you to go to a place called the Icarus, I think they get free meals if they recommend people!
Miros is a nice place, Tingaki is great and the beaches are pretty good. You can see Turkey from the beach outside the Miros.
July will be hot so can't possibly comment on the coolness of the rooms.
