We have just come back from Kos - we were there from the 30 August 2006 for a week.

 

The location of the Apartments was great with a nice view of Kefalos and the sea from the first floor.  The Apartments have no reception - so anything that you want really needs to be sorted out via your Rep. The owners are around occasionally, but communication is hard if like me you can't speak any Greek! The Apartments are a really good size, with a huge kitchen/dinner area when you first walk in, a large wardrobe, small bathroom and a good sized bedroom and balcony. They have a fridge (with a small freezer compartment), kettle and two cooking rings, no shower curtain in the bathroom though. You can hire a fan for 15 Euros and a safe deposit box for 10 Euros. You've got the option to keep the room on late -  up until 8pm is 20 Euros and is well worth it if you've got a late night flight!  There is no pool on site, but there is one at Kontessa Hotel which is just a few minutes down the road - the owners there are really friendly.  They also exchange money and traverllers cheques at the Kontessa.

 

The Apartments are just a few minutes walk down to the sea front where there is a good choice of nice bars and restaurants.  For us the location was really ideal - nice and quite but within easy walking distance of everything!

 

Apart from that, the quality of the bike was fair and the one problem that we did have was fixed the next day.
