Stayed in Hotel Captains a couple of years ago, they are very friendly and inviting, the place is not the Ritz but it was very clean, the maid service was very good. we stayed there in early may, there are alot of restaraunts to choose from, most very good value for money. Day trip to turkey advisable (keep your hand in your pockets though, otherwise they say come here my friend and it is dificult to get away) only buy purfume duty free, the men in the street are not selling real thing. I bought 2 pairs of earings in a turkish jewellers haggle like mad 2 pair of 18ct gold earings cost me £65, he asked for £140, the same sort here are £50 and only 9ct.
