Scorpios - (Restaurants in Kefalos)

Jim C

Ate here 4 times after trying Captain John , Stamatis and Rainbow . True this was the most expensive but had such a great variety of food we just came back to try something different from greek food since Kefalos is nothing like Greece ( Wind blown dusty and not finished the worse resort I've been in in 20yrs of Greece). The Curries were the best outside of the UK and better than some  were I live and the 2 Indian chefs do a fantastic job of turning out the food . Were else you find a resteraunt with only 2 chefs that offered so much variety , certainly no where else on Kos . Saved the holiday .

Old Kefalos - (Places to Visit on Kos)

Jim C

If you have nothing better to do . But traditional Greece at it's best , come on . Worth it only for the views back over Kefalos ( which is about the only time Kefalos looked good ) .

Zia Sunset - (Places to Visit on Kos)

Jim C

Zia although only a small village selling the usual stuff was our fave place . Mainly for the excellent walk up to Mt Dhekios which takes anout 1hr30min but offers views in all directions and is well worth the fair effort on hot days .Follow the path out of the  back of the village , it's the only way to make Kos look scenic .

Elini Hotel - (Accommodation in Kefalos)

Very clean little Hotel and ideally place for a bit of p and q on the edge of the resort area . Me and my son stayed for a week and had no complaints whatsoever about the Eleni ( and as I have gotten older I am starting to complain ) .
