lovely apartments - a five minute walk up from the village - there is a supermarket nearby and the lovely beach is only a couple of minutes walk away.  in the rooms there are all the facilities you require; hairdryer, kettle, cooking rings, fridge, tv. air conditioning and the safe deposit box are also available at an extra cost.  the only downside to the luis is that the pool is open to anyone in the resort (and there is only one other pool in the village!) and we did have problems with some german kids who were using the pool unsup**vised by their parents but this was sorted out by our rep. we were always able to get a sunbed for the day.  the rooms are cleaned regularly and also bed linen and towels seemed to be changed quite often.  the pool bar is very reasonable for drinks and snacks and is open during the day from about 8.30.
very friendly and helpful staff.  would highly recommend!  attached photos of views from balcony!

Tasty Palace - (Restaurants in Mastihari)

This was by far the best restaurant in Mastihari that I tried.  The food was delicious - the lamb kleftiko was the best I have ever tasted and I have visited several Greek island's previously!  Chris is a great host and speaks fantastic English.  If you try the  pizza's they will easily feed two people and are homemade and not out of a box as I've experienced in other Greek restaurants.  The views of Kalymnos and the sunset from the restaurant are also another plus point.  I strongly recommend that you try the Tasty Palace (don't be put off by the naff name!).  You will enjoy the experience!
