I have stayed in the argyri, and really wouldn't recommend it for a two year old. It is bustling, and on my stay there was very noisy, due to the abundance of young groups staying there, however the argyri is known for this, and is one of the nicest sets of apartments in Kardamena.

27 john fisher rugby lads from london going argirri on the 12th til the 26th july 2006
Hi there Boys & Girls, just wondered if anyone has booked in at the Argyri Hotel for Aug2nd - Aug9th? Six Bolton lads from Bolton will be staying that week! Went to Zante last year an had a great time, just hope Kardamena could be even better!! Have we booked into good apartments then? the pool looks pretty good. See you all in August 06 cheers JohnMac
just back from kardamena on the 22nd sept hotel was great and dimitri and his staff were excellent hosts also a big thanks to the girls from essex who helped my mate when he split his head open, would reccomend this hotel to anyone.
Great hotel. The staff are very friendly and you are right next to the restaurants and the bars. Perfect location. Thoroughly recommend as the place to stay when in Kardamena.
Great hotel! Minutes away from the beach, over a small bridge to Bar Street!
Hi
we (10 brummie girls) went for a week in july and stayed in the apartment block we only found 4 cockraoches and 1 ants nest in the fridge. Take ur own bogg roll if ur selfcatering as they wont suppy it and the towels provided were mingin'. Pool was great, v.deep at 1 end. Loungers are 2euros a day or 10 for the wk. If ur with Thomas Cooke the trips are a rip off we heard it was cheaper to use the travel shops in kardamena. Location is great close to beach shops and clubs. "FUKING GUO" The chinnese restrant near the beach isnt worth a visit as the food is vile. Overall not bad for the price.

Just got back from a week in the Agyiri. We were a bit dissapointed to find we were staying in the annexe block, as we felt a bit out of the way - After a while we grew to love it - Thanks to the Manchester boys!! Close to all amenities and most importantly close to bar street! We did have a bit of a problem wen we lost our key. We had to pay 30 euros 4 a new one which we didnt get until 4 days later - and we was climbing in and out of our window to get in and out. Apart from that we had a fantastic time in Kos. Reps at the hotel were kool - Kelly U Ledge! Recommend the bar crawl, it was one of the best nites out we had in Kos! Def recommend staying at the Agyiri!!!
We stayed the for 2weeks and had a brill time in there. We met some brill ppl there and would defo stop there again. Just a shame that we could find out who sent that note to us(leeds Lads) and the brummy lads. The cleaner was ok even she could spk english but we did make a mess one night by havin water fights and cover one of the lads doors in shavin foam. The bar crawls setup by kelly, dave and becca were brill. Hopefully wil be goin there nxt yr. If any one who stop there saw us(carla n her mates, Brum Lads and the 2 kidderminster birds) just wanna say big hi.... SO HI
how far is the Argyri apart/hotel from the agrellis hotel?
just got back from our stay in kardamena!! 13 of us went out and stayed in the argyri appartments. i thought it was fantastic and want to go back!! Cleaners came in evey day and even though our cleaner couldn't really speak english she tried bless her! i don't know what people are talking about when they say demitri is a bad guy i thought he was lovely. great location near bar street but not too noisy, v. close to super markets. resturant and pool on your doorstep and a beautiful quiet area of beach just opposite. i would completely reccomend staying there. if youre thinking of going the amazon is a great place to eat, you get a 3 course meal and any free drinks until midnight for only 15 euros!! and koyros along the seafront, if you want service, the guys in there are amazing they made me feel so wlcome. also get a quad bike so much fun. one last thing if your gonna do any of the excursions don't do it through the rep there are loads of better deals all around the town you'll see if you look. the volcanoe was amazing such a fantastic experience, through the rep it cost 39 euros but in the travel places you can get it for 15. dont get me wrong though the rep was brilliant her name was kelly, she was so helpful and really nice!!
Fantastic fantastic fantastic!
hi is any one goin here from 4th may 2005 ?its our 5th time in kos cant wait so excited, but will it be busy!any one help let us know cheers see you there x
We have stayed at this hotel for several stays in Kardamena now, and we wont go anywhere else, really helpful friendly place , ideal staggering distance from Bar street, everywhere clean and well looked after, stayed in both the annexxe and the main building now will only stay in the annexxe , loads of room and peaceful. Try it there are many that are worse!!
Dimitri!!!!
God you have such a bad name for yourself and you hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep up the great work!!!!!!!
Visited Kos for the first time in October. We stayed in the annexe - don't get a shock like we did when the rep marches you out of the main reception area and back down the street towards the bridge. We arrived in the dark and didn't have a clue where we were going!
But the annex was very nice - if like us you get a room that overlooked the road. Rooms very clean, basic furniture (what else do you expect in Greece?). Rooms at the side/back had balconies that looked into the centre of the building, don't think I'd have liked that.
No safety deposit boxes in the annexe - you need to go back to reception at the main building or carry your stuff around like we did.
we have just come back from our 2nd year at argyri. it was magic as ever. across the road is a small coved beach which is very clean. dimitri was as crazy as ever but nice guy overall. the pool was clean and not too overcrowded. age wise there was a mixture but mostly a younger crowd. apartments are close to the main strip but far enough to hear the noise. the restaurant at the hotel was good as well and the couple who ran it were lovely. you will enjoy your stay!!!!!
We have just returned from Kos and it was brill. These apartments are nice and far enough away from noise, brill location near beach and bar street and the harbour. However it is full of young people so expect hotel noise through the early hours of the morning from people coming in. Aparts are clean enough but basic.Pool is nice however 2 euros a day 4 sunbed.Bar food and drinks very reasonable and tasty. Would reccomend here for a cheap bargain holiday.
Just returned 09/06/04 we stayed in the Argyri annex overlooking the main road not to much noise the usual binmen, fruit sellers, and fish
ate most of the time in the adelphia EXCELLENT went to a small beach which had a bar called the Rock Bar it was poor bliss and very quiet and you have to see MARIA and JOEANNA please give JOEANNA this e mail address.Dying for September to return
We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Argyri, The hotel itself is fine but the accommodation in the annexe is extremly basic and very noisey, our room had a glass door with no curtain etc so anyone in the annexe could see in. Catering equipment is laughable (nowhere to sit to eat either!) and don't expect hot water. However the rooms were kept spotless and the staff were helpful. Two restraunts right beside the annexe were excellent and really good value, but this did mean that there was a constant smell of cooking. The pool area is great but you are charged 2 euros per day for using the sunbeds - also note that there is a 20 euro deposit to be paid on arrival for the room key. THe hotel is really handy for the shops and bars with everything within easy reach.
I recently came back from a fantastic hol staying at these apts. They are family run and the staff are really friendly. Good mix of people staying here. Excellent location with beach and shops/bars/restaurants within 5 mins walking distance. Rooms are basic but clean and maid comes 3 times week. No air con but fans available to hire. Games room with pool tables and internet access. Bar open til late every night. There is also a restaurant open til 8pm. Great pool too.
Definately recommend staying here!
just got back from the argyri, and loved it the pool was very big and easy enough to swim in. round the pool they charge u 2€ to use the sunbeds which we thought was a bit of a con. otherwise we really loved staying here. the beach is about 2 mins was and the clubs, bars, restraunts and shops were about 5 mins walk, it had a good mix of people when we were there from young people with mates to older familys. i have a few pics of the apartment if anyone wants a look, thomaspearce1984@hotmail.com
I dont know what place the other guests here were staying but this place must be seen to be believed. There was a group of 4 of us arrived and the first thing that was said was that we better not cause any hassle - great intro!. The pool is like a paddling pool and if you say boo during the day you get a row from the old people. If you are below 35 i would seriously reconsider coming here. The food in Greece is not up to scratch at the best of times but in and around this hotel is just horrible. The apartments consist of one bed and a sofa and ants nest are not uncommon to find.
i was just wondering if there is air con available or fans?thanks
Do the rooms in this Hotel have a fridge in them and can you request a fan from reception. If anyone knows the answeres to theses questions can you please contact me on my e-mail address. Iccle_miss_drunkeness@hotmail.com
