Manolis Studios

Erica, Dawn and Logan managed another week at the Manolis in August. We had a fab time, treated like royality as usual. Hospitality and food wonderful, special mention for Maria's cake.....best ever!! Will be back in June with the lads!!!!!

 just got back from our holiday at the manolis studios in kefalos had  a fantasic holiday! bambis and his family could"nt do enough for us they were excellent!would recomend it to any one!we will be back next year!

Had another lovely Holiday (unfortunatley not at Manolis), however seeing all the Manolis Marauders and Studios Family once again made the holiday.

  Jeanette and I have recently returned from our little piece of heaven, yet again another great time with all our wonderful friends we meet every year and of course with Manolis, Yanosia, Bambis, Maria, George, Zoe, and their brilliant families, already made arrangements for next year,really can't wait.

first weekend back after 2 fantastic weeks with our second family in beautiful kefalos and guess what its p******* down welcome back to reality just hope those 6 numbers come up

 reiterate every thing sue has said, we'll be there on the 13th hopefully by 2300'ish, does any one know if bambis has got the guiness in yet???? really looking forward to it, same gang,same place, same great company and lot's of great laughs!!  best wishes for the future for val & terry, see you all soon,

  Annie, if your flight is at midnight as you say then you will probably be getting picked up at about 9'ish, Bambis and Maria will let you keep your room on for a few euro's, that's what we all do on our many visits, hope you have a great time when you get there, I know we do,

hi ..we have just booked are first holiday to kefalos, staying at manolis studios....we are very impressed with the reviews on here and other websites and are really looking forward to our holiday in august, what i would like to know is on departure of our room will there be a spare room to shower as our flights are not til midnight and im worried about being smelly all day!!

Christine and Tony, fully agree with what Sue has said, could you make sure Bambis has got some guiness in, really appreciate that, hope, no, I know you will have a great time, try the Greek night, good show, watch the wine (rocket fuel), really on count down now, 27 days to go.

 Well, we're only 5 weeks away from our little piece of paradise, really can't wait to meet up with Manolis Snr, Bambis, Maria and the whole wonderful family, and of course all our friends from England who we meet up with every year, really looking forward to it.

  Hi to all who haved stayed at Manolis Studios, my husband and i have stayed in kefalos many times + i agree with susan leese it is our paradise island to. We love the people ,This is our first time @ the manolis studios we have stayed @ b+b most of the time we like to go self catering, not sure where the manolis is?? can anyone help ?? we know it is on the main road . Can anybody help? We travel on the 27/5/09 for 2 weeks can,t wait  thanks chris southport .I am rating 10 because anything is good.

there is a bus service to kos town and the ferries run from kos town or mastihari but you will find stella or michael at kefalos tours very helpfull and cheaper than the reps As for tavernas they are all pretty good and the resort is quiet with no lager louts or noisy bars enjoy your stay at manolis we are there in may as usual

My wife and I have booked to stay for two weeks at Manolis in early May 2009 this will be our first time in Kos and would appreciate any info.on thearea, for example,is it possible to get to Turkey and back in one day using public transport? also any tips on decent tavernas in kefalos, we are both retired (but fit) so no karaoke or British pubs please.All comments would be welcome,

 just booked for may 2009 through coop travel they saved our holiday 2 weeks ago when exel went bust we should have flown to crete but ended up in algarve thanks to coop and my first holiday money was back in the bank within 2 weeks

I am thinking of going to the Manolis Apartments in Oct to join friends staying at the Hotel Antonis.

 That's it all done and booked for next year, same time, same place, same wonderful friends, looking forward to the hospitality of Manolis' family, oh yeh! and there's a small matter of the wedding to take into consideration, 307 days to go!!!!!!!!

manolis is on the way into kefalos there are some restaurants within 300 metres and the local beach is about 300 metres it is on a slight incline but not exactly too strenuos gavin made it to 2 or 3 restaraunts and he had to walk with a stick as a result of a stroke it just depends how much night life you want

I am thinking of booking for september because of the past comments but i have concerns over the location as my husband has walking difficulties. Would there be a problem for him?

thoroughly enjoyed the holiday it was our first visit but we were treated like long lost family.

returned home last wednesday missing kefalos and manolis studios and all our greek friends our grandson cameron even said epharisto to the local ice cream man the other day cannot thank babis and all the kordistos family enough for their excellent hospitality we will return again next year as always our extended family are now addicted see you soon

Just returned from Manolis Studios - our first trip to Kos. We were a little disappointed, as Kos (Kefalos especially) didn't have the traditional feel we'd found on Crete and Rhodes. No proper 'tavernas' to speak of, just cafe/restaurants....all ok, though - we didn't have a poor meal.

not long now i will soon be relaxing by the pool with a mythos by my side in the good company of the manolis family see you on 21/05 

 Well it is now 80 days until me(Rich), Jeanette,(sensible southerners),- Pip and Phil,(mad mancunians),- Sue and Dave (manic midlanders) all meet up at Manchester airport to fly out to the wonderful Manolis Studios again, this will be mine and Jeanette's 9th visit in a row and it can't come quick enough. Really looking forward to seeing Manolis senior, Yanasia (mum), Bambis, Maria, Zoe and all of Manolis' wonderful family.

Have had another fab holiday (18.08.07 to 01.09.07) staying at the Manolis Studios, with Bambis, Maria, Zoe and all the family, this was our third visit and have booked to go back next year. The apartments were very clean and comfortable, as for emptying the toilet bin we take nappy bags and empty the bin every day ourselves.

A very good studio complex -fairly new and in good condition.The pool area is excellent for the number of guests-always plenty of sunbeds.Poolbar good with decent well priced snacks and meals.Room 14 is great overlooking the pool-step off the terrace and you re there!Good supemarket close by(jims)and sports bar (The Dolphin) showing movies every night plus Sky sport.A quiet resort -good for couples and families.

Just returned yesterday from our first holiday to Kos. We travelled with Libra Holidays for 1 week.

Just come back from our 2nd visit to these fantastic apartments.  A huge thanks to Bambis, Marie, Zoe and the rest of the Manolis family for once again making our holiday so special. These are perfectly situated, clean & comfortable apartments with a lovely pool and pool bar with excellent snacks available.

visited manolis again on 16 /05/2007  with our grandson his mum and his uncle had another great holiday with the usual hospitality from babis maria zoe and all the family my extended family were amazed the way everyone in kefalos is so friendly and welcoming and not just out to take your money like other holiday resorts highly recommend manolis and kefalos

 another great holiday with babis and family we are not normally repeat visitors to resorts but kefalos draws you into its spell try it and deny it manolis is perfect so much that we are returning in may with our 4year old grandson cant wait

My wife (Jeanette) and myself visited these wonderful apartments yet again this June, and returned for another week in October, Bambis and Maria were right, it does get cold at night in the later months. Already booked for next June 07, with our whole family,(is Bambis ready for this), we can't praise enough the family of Manolis senior, he can be very proud of them all, and we are really looking forward to seeing them next year. 

These studios are excellent. very clean with a really nice secluded pool area, beautifully kept win gardens with a quiet snack bar. They are run by a really loevely family and are a gentle 20 minute stroll from the busier end of town, but only a minutes walk from the nearest supermarket (Jim's) and Restaurant (Savvas) which does really excellent fresh local meat.

This is our fourth visit to Manolis in Kefalos and as usual it was absolutely wonderful.  Bambis and his wonderful family make you feel so very welcome and treat you like one of the family.

We visited Manolis Studios in September 2005 and can highly recommend the friendly family run studios you are guaranteed to learn some greek from Babis.We are returning this September and we never normally go to the same place twice.     

My wife and I returned yet again (2005), and yet again had a wonderful time, we are going back this year (2006) but this time we are taking our grand daughter, can't wait to meet up with David and Susan, and their marvelous family, I'm sure we will all have a great time, role on June.

We have just returned from manolis for the third year. So that tell's you how good it is. The family are great people and always willing to help. The complex takes on a large family atmosphere for the time that you are there. We have met many friends on our holiday at manolis. In fact we have booked for 2006 to meet up with Ken and Aileen who we met in 2004. I highly recommend MANOLIS for a holiday but be quick because the bookings go very fast.

Great place to stay,

Apartments were very nice, clean and welcoming. They are a fair walk into the centre, but not too bad unless you have trouble walking and it can be a bit scary if the traffic is busy. (No real pavements in some parts). Nice family who run them and the snack bar is very good for lunches. The pool although open to other studios was never crowded and no problem getting a lounger.

nice place but a long walk to bars,shops and restaurants. could do with a reliable taxi or bus service. very clean, nice family. would go again

Just arrived home after our stay at Manolis Studios.  Bambis and family were great. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.  Studios very clean.  Pool and pool bar excellent.  Stayed there with my husband and 10 other members of our family.  We all can't wait to return next year.

Just come back and really liked these apartments. The room was clean with a good view over the bay, the pool was good and you could always get a nice snack (try the Greek Salad) or a drink at the pool bar.
Be prepared for a bit of walking to the main part of town, but that's Greece, you always need to be prepared to walk a bit.
If you are looking for a relaxed holiday this is the place for you.

Just came back. Had a fantastic time. The studio was clean and well spaced but expect Greek toileting facillities(no shower curtains and no loo paper must go in the toilets!) Self catering facillities was not too great. They just give you the minimal. The family who owned the studios was nice nad helpful.Bambis the brother and Zoey and Maria the sisters. Even the great grandmother. The studios is around 15-25 minutes away from the active strech of bars and restaurants and other accommodation but the beach was around 10 minutes away. The pool and the bar is good. Would recommend for guests who would like a peaceful holiday without noisy teeny boppers!

Did'nt stay at 'Manolis' but used the pool every day, and that was superb, very clean and everyone there are so friendly and the bar area for drinks and snacks were excellent.
Try the 'Greek Salad' its massive and for just 2.50 euros was good value.
Again its a bit of a hike to the main 'strip' and if with little one's may be investing in a car would be recommended.
If you do get a car drive up to the old town and visit the old bakery, it was the highlight of our holiday, just so original greek, superb.

We are going to the Manolis Studios in September 03. We have booked a studio that sleeps 3, does anyone know the sleeping arrangments in the studios ? I have 2 small children aged 2 and 4yrs. Do the studios have security boxes or are there any held in the checking in area ? How far is it to walk to the main part of the the town from the studios ?

We have just come back from the Manolis Studios with our 5 year old Daughter. The Studios were great, clean and wow what a view! The pool was great especially with the kids pool. Maria and the rest of the family were very friendly and helpful. We will definately be returning to Manolis. The location of the studios was excellent for the beach (5-10 mins walk) and far away enough from the bars/restaraunts to be peaceful.
Would definately recommend this accomodation!!!

I took my 10 year old daughter to Koz and we stayed at manolis appartments/studios
the pool is great the people are lovely the service at the snack/bar
is great.
we loved it, we went last year in july & it was so hot!over 90++
went on some great trips too. totaly awesome ship/boat trip where you can sunbathe on deck all the way there(and get a deep/dark tan!)
then swim in the clear sea and picnic on the beach.
not to be missed.

Although we did not stay at the complex we used the facilities.This
family run location is excellent with a very clean pool and a childrens pool. The family are very friendly and helpful.We were there
in May and are going back in August.
